How It Works
How a Tilt & Turn window operates
Tilt position
Handle up: the sash leans inward at the top and stays held at the sides. Air comes in through the gap while the opening cannot be pushed wide from outside.
Turn position
Handle sideways: the sash swings fully inward like a door, clearing the whole opening for airing the room quickly or cleaning both faces of the glass from inside.
Multi-point locking
Turning the handle drives locking points around the perimeter of the sash, pulling it evenly against the gaskets all the way round.
